Nonbinary comedian, actor, author and producer Caldwell Tidicue, better known as Bob the Drag Queen, describes herself as “hilarious, beautiful, talented, and humble.” She credits his mother for the confidence behind her Season 8 RuPaul’s Drag Race win as “America’s Next Drag Superstar.” Bob’s acting credits span HBO, Netflix, Sony TriStar, Paramount, and more. She also recently tried her hand at murder on Season 3 of Peacock’s The Traitors.

Bob co-hosted and produced HBO’s We’re Here, which won a Peabody and a GLAAD Media Award and was recognized by the Television Academy Honors. Sibling Rivalry, her podcast with Monét X Change, won a Queerty Award and the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Podcast.

In 2025, Bob launched Purse First Studios, a production company and creative studio dedicated to BIPOC talent, queer stories and comedy. In the past year, its YouTube channel has grown to nearly 100,000 subscribers. Its slate includes Only Child, Bob’s first solo podcast, and much more. Bob’s own YouTube channel has nearly 770,000 subscribers, who watch her bring her humor to ranking pop-culture moments, taking on viral challenges and make up tutorials, digging into queer history, politics and comedy.

Onstage, Bob was master of ceremonies for Madonna’s international Celebration Tour and completed her own This Is Wild! world comedy tour. In 2026, she made her Broadway debut as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. She’ll make her West End debut as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at Theatre Royal Drury Lane from November 16 to 21, 2026. You can see her debuting new material through 2027 while touring North America in Now Clap!, which she calls her “state of the union address.”

Her debut novel, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert, is a New York Times bestseller and ALA Alex Award winner. A few of her other projects include the debut EP Gay Barz, and the stand-up specials Woke Man in a Dress, Dead Mom’s Club and This Is Wild!, a Hulu special Bob wrote, performed and executive produced.
