Nonbinary comedian, actor, author, and producer Caldwell Tidicue, or Bob the Drag Queen on your “For You” page, describes himself “hilarious, beautiful, talented, and humble.” He credits his mother for the confidence behind his Season 8 RuPaul’s Drag Race victory as “America’s Next Drag Superstar.” His acting credits span HBO, Netflix, Sony TriStar, MTV, and VH1.

Bob co-hosted and produced HBO’s Peabody- and GLAAD Media Award-winning We’re Here, also recognized by the Television Academy Honors. Sibling Rivalry, his podcast with Monét X Change, won a Queerty Award and GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Podcast.

Bob’s career has continued at full speed. In 2025 he launched Purse First Studios, his production company and creative studio dedicated to showcasing BIPOC talent, queer content, and comedy. His recent interviews and appearances include Seth Meyers, Gayle King, Sherri Shepherd, Ke$ha, NPR’s Ari Shapiro, and The View. He also tried his hand at murder on Season 3 of Peacock’s The Traitors.

Onstage, Bob served as master of ceremonies for Madonna’s international Celebration Tour, completed his own worldwide comedy tour, and is currently touring North America with his new show, Now Clap! In 2026, he made his Broadway debut as Harold Zidler in an eight-week limited engagement of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. Bob will make his West End debut as King Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar at Theatre Royal Drury Lane from November 16–21, 2026.

His debut novel, Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert, is a New York Times bestseller and ALA Alex Award winner. Releases include debut EP Gay Barz, stand-up special Woke Man in a Dress, and Hulu’s This Is Wild!, written, performed, and executive-produced by Bob.
